PROUD! 2026 Quilt Pattern (Paper)

This year's PROUD! quilt is not just a celebration of Pride, but also puts our Trans friends and allies front and center of the design. 

Since the beginning of 2025, state lawmakers in 29 states have introduced over 1400 bills to restrict Trans peoples rights. In 2025 alone, 126 of these bills were passed and signed into law. There have also been federal changes to Govt. issued IDs such as passports, access to bathrooms in federal buildings and more. It is imperative for all of us to stand side by side with our trans family and friends. That is what Pride is about, and that is why I will continue to remind everyone that Pride is first and foremost, a Protest. 

The PROUD! 2026 Pattern by The Bear Quilter is a Beginner friendly pattern designed to allow you to create a Prideful throw (72" by 72") or King size quilt (108" by 108") . The pattern includes a coloring diagram so you can make your own Pride quilt with the colors of your choice! 

This pattern assumes that you have some beginner knowledge of sewing or quilting..
